One of my Proudest Moments

I would like to pass on a special Heart-felt congratulations to our first student to pass in to the rank of black belt. Dr. John Tran, aka. Johnny, passed an extremely rigorous test on Thursday night which included sparring 6 people at once and taking a few kicks and punches from me. Even though he spit up a little (haha) he passed his test with flying colors. I dont think I can remember a moment when I felt more proud.
I would also like to congratulate everyone else that passed their belt tests that evening. Calvin and Meredith passed in to Yellow Belt, Olivia and Renee, aka Nay-Nay, passed in to Blue Belt, And Graham and Jim passed in to Green Belt. You all did an outstanding job. It is nights like that that make me remember why I am so passionate about teaching. |

The Grandmaster is Coming!
time_stamp Let me put it this way: If it were ok for me to make Grandmaster Sins Seminar mandatory, I would. Not because of money, but because this is the best opportunity you will ever have to learn a kata directly from the Grandmaster of Shaolin. I dont want you to regret it later, and I promise if you dont come, you will. He will be visiting us on Saturday, January 12th to teach our The First Road to Golden Leopard Fist. This is an incredible Kata built for speed and precise attacks. I am extending the Pre-pay date due to the Holiday break. If you prepay by Saturday, January 5th, the price is $80. However, I am raising the cost to $95 if you wait until after. Please join me in supporting Grandmaster Sin's first visit, not only to our school, but the the first SDA school in Florida. |

Happy Holidays

I would like to wish everyone the Happiest and Safest of Holidays. You have all made the last year one of the best of my life. Whenever any of my students succeeds, I feel a sense of accomplishment and pride. I know 2008 will be even better. I look forward to growing with all of you.
Remember, Classes will resume on Thursday, January 3rd. Please check the new school schedule to know when your class meets. White belts (Jeremy) will now meet Monday and Wednesday from 6-7. There will be an open review class on Thursday December 27th from 7-8pm. All current students are welcome to attend and review.
