Sifu Ryan teaches Longfist 
 

Join Sifu Bills teacher, Sifu Ryan Howard, when he teaches out one of the short forms coming from the Long Fist system. It will soon become one of your all-time favorites! Long Fist style is a very common and traditional Chinese system. It's flashy movements will mimic any Kung Fu movie that you have seen. Remember Jet Li in "Fearless"? Well get ready!  This short form version is a great introductory to the Northern Long Fist that you get to learn at 3rd degree Black Belt. 

Sifu Ryan is a 4th degree black belt and has been teaching Shaolin-Do since 1998. He owns and operates several schools in San Antonio, TX and is the official Tai Chi instructor of the NBA San Antonio Spurs.
 
The cost is only $60 and it is available to all students over the age of 10! Dvds will be available for $10 as well. They make great reference material. If money is an issue, dont worry! You can make 2 payments of $35 and have it added to tuition over the next 2 months.
It is always an honor when an instructor, especially my own instructor of over 10 years, comes to town. lets really try to show our support and make it out for this seminar. It will be held Wednesday, June 9th at 7pm.

 


School Update 
 

This has been an incredible month for both of our schools. The Sarasota location opened up April 1st and we already have 5 dedicated students. 3 of which joined up just last monday. I would like to thank Johnny Tran for your help that night, if not for you, I dont think it would have been so successful. And thank you Louis for helping out last night.
This is in addition to the 10 NEW STUDENTS that have joined the Brandon school. I would like to thank each and every one of our instructors for all of their help. I would like to thank Mike and Kellie Clemmer for all of their hard work and dedication in running our school on Mondays and Thursdays (as well as many other days) while we build our school in Sarasota. And thank you to Johnny and Steve for running the upper classes on Thursdays as well. Thank you so much guys. Im so proud to have students from the dance studio days still here going strong and guiding others.
I also want to thank all of the assistant instructors for helping with all of the classes. Sotiris (steve), Johnny, Josh, Louis, Steven Rod, Jeremy...you guys are amazing and I could not do this without you.
 
I definitely feel its our time to shine and make a name for ourselves, not only in Tampa and Sarasota, but in FLORIDA. With all of our students help, Shaolin-Do will be a household name here in no time.

All classes are cancelled on Saturday,  May 29th and Monday May 31st in observance of Memorial day. I hope you all have a safe and happy holiday weekend.
 
Tis the Season: dont forget to bring sneakers to all classes now as we work out outside often. If you dont have any, see sifu bill about ordering some Feivues. They are only $20 and make great martial arts sneakers
